Tucson Church of the Week

Each week, we pray for a local church. This week, we're praying for Fellowship Bible Church.

What is something unique or descriptive about your church?
At our church, we are experiencing the same challenge as all other churches in our city. We are seeking ways to continue to express High Touch care, while utilizing High Tech expressions to keep our church body spiritually healthy.

What is happening within the church that you are excited about?
We are meeting now as leaders (Elder and staff team) to strategy on shepherding the members of our body, and at the same time developing unique new expressions of our Sunday morning service to minister to people while they stay at home.

What are one or two prayer needs within the church?
1.That our people would seek God's face and be strengthen against F.U.D. (Fear, uncertainty, and doubt)
2.That our shepherding of people who are in the midst of required social distancing, will sense God's sovereignty and care, and at the same time establish personal connection with our body.

Anything else you’d like to share?
Psalm 91 for comfort. 2 Chronicles 7: 14, 15 for God's call to each of us for to a deeper life for our church, our city, our country, our world. "...or if I send pestilence among My people, and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
