On Friday, January 27, 2017, the 4Tucson Government Domain hosted a Reception and Blessing Breakfast for Elected Officials and First Responders. Terry Parish, a sergeant with the Pima County Sheriff's Department, shared the following related to his experience as a participant:
"The breakfast was the event where I've had the most contact with 4Tucson so far, other than knowing Paul [4Tucson Government Domain Director] and supporting him over the years. I liked that this breakfast was a very spiritual event... hearing a blessing is inspirational. I could feel that the Holy Spirit was there moving to protect us and empower us, for the battles that continue in our daily lives. We face lots of battles as we try to protect the public. For me, it reminded me of a Bible verse from when I was a child: "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." ([bible-gateway-reference verse-reference="Isaiah 26:3" version="NKJV"]) Thank you for this breakfast and all the great work you are doing in the community, through prayer and other ways. We need prayer warriors. Prayer really does have an impact."
144 guests attended this breakfast where government leaders and the men and women who risk their lives protecting others were honored and blessed. Thank you to those who attended and supported this event.
The Government Domain unites Christians working in (or who are interested in) the government sphere, who have the common goal of ensuring the safety, prosperity and liberty of the citizens of Tucson.
