December Newsletter: Prayer, Trust & Hope
Greetings to all Pray-ers!
As we are now entering the holiday season we are often reminded and encouraged to remember all the things we should be thankful for, all the blessings the Lord has given us. This is a good thing! But, how many of us know of people who are struggling to find those blessings in a world, in a time where things seem to be so chaotic? Perhaps some of those we know are even wonderful people who truly love the Lord.
There is deep level of fatigue over our country and it is effecting both the believer and the non-believer alike. I rejoice if this is not you! However, many are weary of COVID, political news, uncertainty with schools, zoom meetings, health issues of family & loved ones, and the list can go on.
Please be encouraged, my friends. Our Abba Father is on His throne. He does not sleep; nor does He slumber – and He knows our tomorrows. We’ve all heard the word “trust” many, many times. However, a possible Hebraic understanding of trust is to grab hold tightly and not let go. Allow the knowledge of who you are in Christ be your plumb line during this season. The more our thoughts are centered on Christ, the less we will be effected by angst, fear, uncertainty. Grab hold tightly to the only Rock that can whether any and all storms.
How does the Lord see you? Beloved, righteous, son/daughter, a joint heir with Christ, a blessing. It is my prayer that the Lord will fill each of you with His joy. May you truly be His Light, Salt, and Hope to our community that very much needs God’s truth, comfort & encouragement.
Prayer Requests:
Blessings & Shalom (Peace)
