So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Genesis 1:27

I think we can all agree that men and women deserve equal rights. Back in 1972, Congress passed Title IX legislation to ensure women received equal treatment in education and sports. What’s not equal is when biological men demand to compete against women in interscholastic and intramural sports.

All over the country, biological men who self-identify as women are destroying women’s sports by dominating competitive sports designed for women to compete with each other.

Last week in the Arizona Legislature, SB 1165 Save Women’s Sports, sponsored by Senator Nancy Barto, passed the Senate Judiciary Committee. Now it heads to Senate Rules before being voted on by the entire Senate and then to the House of Representatives.

SB 1165 bans biological males from competing in women’s sports. You would think we would have near-unanimous support from our legislators to protect women from unfair male competition. Amazingly, transgender biological male dominance over women is a partisan issue. Biblical truths are being thrown out the window in order to support “wokeness” that has perverted our society.

What’s disturbing is the fact that fluid gender philosophy is being taught to our children in public schools. Tucson Unified School District’s so-called Family Life Curriculum mirrors the radical Planned Parenthood Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE). Schools throughout the nation are indoctrinating our children with the notion that your sexuality has no correlation to your gender. You can wake up in the morning feeling like a woman and be a man by the end of the day. You can’t watch mainstream entertainment without seeing this agenda glamorized.

As Christians, we are commanded to treat each other with love and compassion. This includes those who suffer from gender dysphoria. Regardless of how tolerant we are, there is a difference between men and women. Biological male athletes shouldn’t have a right to compete with women in school sports.
