Joanie Hammond
Hands of Hope Tucson, CEO
In May of 2020, with encouragement from the board of directors at Hands of Hope and many hours of prayer Joanie Hammond decided to take a step-in faith and accepted the CEO role at Hands of Hope. It was a big decision to leave the corporate world and go into full time ministry. Joanie believes her corporate experience; board history and fundraising experience have equipped her to take HOH to the next level. Joanie worked for several educational institutes as a National Account Manager, Corporate Alliance Manager, and the Director of On-line Education. She currently sits on the board of directors for The National Orthopedic Nurses Foundation and the Foundation Board for El Rio Health Center. She is also the director of Abiding Women at Calvary Tucson. When Joanie isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her husband Marc, her four adult children and her 4 grandchildren.
