City of Tucson Faith Base Community Climate Session 1

Trained community facilitators and City of Tucson Representatives will ask you to share your thoughts and opinions on the following questions:

  1. What are your concerns about climate/weather changes in Tucson?
  2. What do you want our community and governments to do to limit greenhouse gas emissions that lead to climate change?
  3. What local/neighborhood-based projects can the City of Tucson support to help you, your neighbors, and the people that you work with, handle heat, drought, or extreme weather events?

Your responses will be compiled into a report that will inform the City of Tucson’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan.
This session is scheduled for this coming Thursday, July 8th, from 6:00-7:30pm at Mission Church on 2435 East 17th St. (17th St. and Tucson Blvd.).
