Thomas G Cortese grew up in a small town in New Jersey, the youngest son in a family of 5 boys and one girl. He participated and excelled on sports teams such as wrestling and football. After a career ending knee injury in college, Tom suffered a number of setbacks and traumas.
This led him on a journey of discovery which culminated in a relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He studied for many years with Messianic believers which gave him a unique perspective concerning his interpretation of the scriptures. He is an ordained Minister and Pastoral Counselor, with an Associates Degree as well as level I and level II certifications in Addictions and substance disorders.
He is currently pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Addictions Counseling. He volunteers at several churches in Tucson and works with ministries that seek to help needy kids and families. This is evidenced in his passion for the Social Services Domain and service to families.
