Each week, we pray for a local Christian church. This week, we are praying for First Southern Baptist Church of Tucson.

What is something unique or descriptive about your church?
A church near the university that has been providing biblically driven, God-honoring messages for almost 90 years in Tucson. We are a diverse congregation unified around Jesus Christ.

What is happening within the church that you are excited about?
COVID-19 may have slowed us down in how we meet, but it has not stopped the ministry. Our reach has grown over the last 6 months and we are back to baptizing and making disciples of people from all over the world through the local ministry of the church. God is good!

What are one or two prayer needs within the church?

• We pray that God would give us clarity as we start to bring our Bible Studies back to the campus. We pray that God would allow us to continue to be founded in the principles of God and have the wisdom to apply the timeless truth to our community so that they may also come to know the Almighty God of the Bible.
• We are grateful for the prayers of God's people and have enjoyed this opportunity. We pray that this time would purify our ministry and God's church so that we may be used to bring our Lord even greater glory upon His return. May God's blessing be upon every single one of you!
