April 21, 2022 Prayer Domain Newsletter: The Watchman on the Wall

The time leading up to Resurrection Sunday is over. Many gave up bad habits, vices or over-indulgences for Lent.

April 14, 2022 4Tucson Prayer Domain Blog: Laughter!

Laugh (or laughter) – these words have several definitions. According to Webster’s 7th New Collegiate Dictionary, two definitions I will be referencing are: to find amusement or pleasure in something; and, to be of the kind that inspires joy.

March 24, 2022 4Tucson Prayer Domain Blog: Prayer Points, Scriptures and Newsletters

I want to let you know that all prayer points or lists of scriptures that I have shared in many of the newsletters can be found on the 4Tucson website. I’ve created these to not only be tools or refreshers for us but to also share with others. They are simple by design.

March 17, 2022 4Tucson Prayer Domain Blog: Silence and Solitude

In spite of all that is going on, sometimes we need to take a breather – setting aside time to actually b-r-e-a-t-h-e. Two weeks ago, I suggested looking at some of the spiritual disciplines we see practiced in scripture. I’d like for us to consider – Silence & Solitude.

March 10, 2022 4Tucson Prayer Domain Blog: Praying for the Ukraine

It has been a bit baffling to me on why the events in the Ukraine are affecting me as they are. Perhaps it is because I’ve been to both the Ukraine and Russia – experiencing much that was good about each country: the people, the history, the culture.

Please use the Prayer Points and Scriptures below for those working in Health Care. Allow
the leadership of the Holy Spirit (Ruach ha’Kodesh) to guide you in how to use these verses in your

March 3, 2022 4Tucson Prayer Domain Blog: Be Holy as I Am Holy

It is my profound prayer that by the time you are reading this, the assault on the Ukraine and its population will be over. Unfortunately, it turned out not to be the case. My heart aches by what has been transpiring there – affecting the very young to the very old; the innocent and the vulnerable.

February 17, 2022 Prayer Domain Newsletter: Praying For Those in Medicine

This subject matter has been near to my heart for a long time. It also coincides with 4Tucson’s Healthcare Domain. I have family members, both past and present, who have been and are a part of the medical community. For my purposes, this includes not only doctors and nurses but also dentists, optometrists, technicians, lab assistants, etc.

February 10, 2022 Prayer Domain Newsletter: In the Wilderness

After submitting last week’s newsletter I sensed there might be more in our wilderness. I thought about the story of the Golden Calf found in Exodus 32. Let’s take a look at this and see how it could tie in to our own wilderness experiences.

February 1, 2022 Prayer Domain Newsletter: In the Wilderness!

My profound apologies for not having a newsletter last week. Let’s just say I found myself in the wilderness, not unlike the Israelites in Exodus. I’ve wondered at times if other pray-ers and intercessors have felt the same way.
During the 10th plague, we read of Pharaoh’s and the Egyptians’ eagerness for the Israelites to leave – so much so that the Egyptians gave them everything they wanted. When they crossed the Sea of Reeds, Moses & Miriam sang a song of praise to the Lord found in Ch. 15.
