If you want the ability to know God’s way in every situation and every decision you make, ask God for wisdom. James 1:5 encourages us, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. I predict we are going to need a great deal of wisdom to navigate the future. I am praying for you to have wisdom in all the decisions you will need to make this year.
The retreat challenged us to look deeper into what biblical generosity actually was. We met other people who were on the same journey and heard their stories of radical generosity. One of the reasons it is called a “journey” is because the transformation of our giving paradigm didn’t come all at once. For us, it was gradual through a series of small incremental steps of obedience.
Well it is, after all, 2020. The year that everything seems controversial. It doesn’t matter what subject you choose to discuss; someone will vehemently take an opposing view.
