In my humble and personal opinion, I think people miss out when they solely focus on praying in their “prayer closet”. We miss out connecting with other believers, praying in unity, strengthening and encouraging one another in prayer.
With a one vote majority, our state government passed the biggest tax cut in Arizona history. Laws were passed that protect children, support life, further religious freedom, protect parental rights, improve voter integrity, expand school choice and fund education. There is still more work to be done and battles to be fought but all in all, Arizona is on the right track.

The term “Groupthink” was coined in 1972 by social psychologist Irving L. Janis. He observed a psychological phenomenon whereby people striving for consensus within a group, would often set aside their own personal beliefs rather than disrupt the uniformity of the group. People who were opposed to the prevailing opinion of the group would frequently remain quiet. Preferring to keep the peace rather than face of overwhelming pressure from the group, they would adopt the majority opinion of the group.
This November election is citywide, so every voter in Tucson will elect all open Ward slots regardless of what Ward you live in. Tucson is the only major city in the state that elects primary council members by ward and at large in the general election.
Perhaps there’s a desire for your church, prayer group, or even Sunday school class to host a prayer walk in your neighborhood or you would like to host a prayer meeting. Tucson is a spread out city. The whole idea is to engage people in prayer. With the giving of a variety of styles, times, dates and locations, perhaps more people will want to participate.
