Jamie D. Benjamin, Apostle and Co-Founder of Greater Faith Church in Tucson, Arizona is renowned across the nation as a leader of leaders. Jamie was born and raised in Bishopville S.C.; a small town of about 5,000 people. He learned the value of sacrifice and hard work at a young age as he spent his summers working in the tobacco and cotton fields helping his family survive. He is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army with distinguished Combat tours for both Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Before his exit from the military, he received the Bronze Star Medal, 5 Army Commendation Medals, 7 Army Achievement medals, 2 NCO of the year awards, Sergeant Audie Murphy Club inductee, and numerous other leadership accolades.
Today, Jamie sits on the Board of Directors of 4Tucson, which is a catalyst for City Transformation and one of our City’s most strategic non-profit Organizations. Being bi-vocational, Jamie spends significant time in the marketplace as a Senior Leader within Raytheon Company. Additionally, and most recently, Jamie was elevated to Regional Overseer within the Redemption Fellowship; which is a Kingdom Network of Churches and Leaders mobilized across the globe.
Jamie is persistent in his pursuit of developing potential in others and causing them to live fully in their God given abilities. Having a passion for restoration and helping people realize that they can walk into a New Beginning, he preaches with a strong prophetic edge while always staying relevant cross culturally and generationaly. Jamie’s hunger to equip believers is overshadowed only by his endearing love for his wife Pamela and their 4 daughters. In 2008, they founded Greater Faith Church with less than 20 individuals; today they lead a growing congregation of hundreds and over 15 ministries. AJ, as he is affectionately referred to, can be heard weekly on the KGMS Good Message radio station and across multiple social media outlets. Together, Jamie and Pam are establishing a sound from Heaven and birthing healthy people in all segments of life.
