John has earned a reputation for accuracy and insight into the workings of Tucson's housing market.  The local and national media recognize Mr. Strobeck as an authority on Tucson's housing market.  

John makes frequent television appearances to discuss the housing market activity and is often quoted in the local media.  He has also been quoted and interviewed by USA Today and the New York Times.   

Mr. Strobeck served on the Board of Directors of the Southern Arizona Homebuilders Association and Chairman of the Sales & Marketing Council.  BFBC was recognized by SAHBA as the "Associate Firm of the Year" for 2004, "Best Corporate Service Provider" in 2005, "Best Contribution by an Individual" in 2006, and "Associate Firm of the Year" in 2007.

John is a member of the Church of Christ in Tucson.  He can sometimes be seen cruising around Tucson in his bright gold, customized 1954 Ford Skyliner.  John is also known as "DJ John" and does 50's Rock N Roll disc jockey work in the Tucson area primarily for car shows and cruise nights.  On weekends he can often be found elsewhere in Arizona or New Mexico doing DJ "gigs."
