Thanks you for your interest in 4Tucson and your desire to make a difference in the area of education. My name is Bernadette Gruber and I am the director of the Education Domain for 4Tucson. My passion is to educate, equip and empower Christians so that they may confidently live out their faith, free from fear and free from the lies of “separation of church and state”.
It is easy to criticize all that is wrong with our education system but it take courage to be apart of the solution. I strongly believe when Christians are unified and equipped with the attitude of Christ but the mission of the Apostle Paul, we can transform our community. Instead of the culture impacting our families, we can impact the culture for Christ.
Here are just a few highlights that you can take credit for thanks to your support and involvement:
- In January 2011 Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed Arizona's 1st ever Religious Freedom Day proclamation calling "upon all Arizonans to reflect on the great blessings of religious liberty, endeavor to preserve this freedom for future generations, and to observe this day with appropriate events, activities, and fellowship." Over 40 churches and ministry leaders city wide joined in to commemorate this day, January 16
- Just last week Governor Brewer approved our request again and signed Arizona's second annual Religious Freedom Day proclamation for 2012. See attached. For more information on Religious Freedom Day and how you can get involved visit www.religiousFreedomDay.com.
- God opened doors for approx 1,000 people to hear about "Keeping the Faith in Public Schools" at Faith Community Church in Oct. Follow-up with the Gateways Bible Study begins in January.
